de las emociones más intensas de mi vida como espectador. En el cine
Los Ángeles, de la calle Juan Delgado,
en el barrio Santos Suárez, pasaban la
película Los pájaros, de Alfred Hitchcock, que en Cuba se estrenó en 1974. Recientemente volví a ver esta cinta pero no pude recuperar el deslumbramiento de la primera vez. Y aunque
Los pájaros no ha perdido méritos ante mis ojos,
la emoción ha sido distinta. Tampoco la sala Los Ángeles es la misma de mi adolescencia. Según me dijeron unos vecinos, el cine cerró hace años porque unos
murciélagos anidaban en su techo (¿homenaje a Hitchcock?) . Nunca más ha proyectado
películas.
